English actress Emma Watson is set to be a speaker at this year's TechLaw.Fest. Held at Singapore's Sands Expo and Convention Centre, the two-day event – organised by the Singapore Academy Of Law and the Ministry Of Law – features talks and exhibitions on developments in the law of technology and the technology of law.

The Harry Potter star will speak about diversity and inclusivity on Thursday (Sep 12) alongside her father, renowned communications law expert Chris Watson. Other speakers at TechLaw.Fest 2024 include Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law Edwin Tong, and Singaporean musician Inch Chua.

It is unclear if Emma Watson will be physically present at the event or if she will deliver her speech via online means. CNA Lifestyle has reached out to TechLaw.Fest for comments.
