Making true friends in a cut-throat industry like showbusiness is not easy, but lucky for Chantalle Ng, 29, and Tasha Low, 30, they've found each other.
The stars, who both play Paralympians in Mediacorp drama Hope Afloat, became buds after working together on 2021 Mediacorp series.
They were also castmates in Love At First Bite (2022) and are currently filming the upcoming together.

While they're good pals, Chantalle and Tasha have very different personalities.
Confessing that she is a very timid person, Chantalle recounted in an interview with 8world that when they were learning how to use a wheelchair for the drama, Tasha showed how adventurous she is.
Tasha found the process very thrilling and picked up it very quickly.
"[On the other hand] I was scared, and I still wasn't able to do it when we were almost done with filming. When we were learning to go downhill in a wheelchair, I would hold on really tight and go down slowly, but she would speed up intentionally," said Chantalle.
Tasha, who was also at the interview, then chimed in: "Actually it's all very safe because the wheelchairs we were using all had stoppers so we wouldn't fall."
"But [Chantalle] is just more timid. Personally I love such experiences," she said.
Given their differences, how did the two become so close then?
In an interview with Chinese media zaobao.sg, Chantalle revealed that she knew she was going to be friends with Tasha for life after one particularly traumatic experience together.
"One time, she accompanied me home and I opened the door to see my dog [Dasher] lying motionless on the floor next to a pool of blood. I thought he was dead so I started crying," recalled Chantalle.
Tasha immediately cancelled her ride, which was already on its way, and stayed by Chantalle's side until she calmed down.
They eventually discovered that Dasher was injured and Chantalle remained thankful for the support Tasha showed her at that moment.
Sadly, Dasher passed away in June. He had been Chantalle's dog for the past 10 years.

Though they are peers, Chantalle and Tasha don't see each other as competitors.
When asked what they would do if they have their eyes on the same production? "Then we will try to be in the show together!" they both chirped unanimously.
They also revealed they've been sharing their resources thus far.
"We have the same team, make-up artists and stylists. Sometimes if we're in a rush, we'll just do our make-up at my house," said Chantalle.
The pals are so tight, they even have a hard time picking out each other's flaws.
According to Tasha, her bestie isn't a good judge of character, and would sometimes be taken advantage of.
Chantalle, on the other hand, laughed that Tasha is "really very blur".
"Sometimes she doesn't even know that we have work the next day. But it's actually quite cute lah. The only thing is, how long do you want to be cute for?" joked Chantalle.
