Mario mania has taken over Jewel Changi Airport this holiday season. In addition to the Nintendo pop-up store, there's also a Super Mario-themed event that's running from now till Jan 1, 2024. Called Pipe Around The World At Jewel, the event features larger-than-life photo spots featuring characters and items from the Mario franchise, exclusive meet-and-greet sessions with Mario and Luigi, and limited-edition merchandise.

Fans will want to head to Shiseido Forest Valley to witness most of the action. The area will be filled with many installations including pipes, a Super Star and various power-up items. There, you can pretend you're in the world of Mario and take as many photos as you want.
Other photo spots feature notable Super Mario characters such as Princess Peach, Toad, Bowser, Goomba and Yoshi.

Located throughout Jewel are 56 pipes for you to pretend you've been "transported".
Other activities you can look forward to include meet-and-greet sessions with Mario and Luigi from Nov 17 to 19 at South Gateway Garden on the second level of Jewel. Jewel and Nintendo have also created exclusive merchandise that can be bought for every S$50 spend on a receipt.
These premium items include a cushion & neck pillow priced at S$13, an organiser for S$13, a stylish canvas bag for S$12 and a handy travel pouch also priced at S$12.

With Christmas approaching soon, Jewel also has a slew of festive installations and activities to celebrate the festive cheer. There'll be a 6m-tall Christmas tree at the main entrance of the Shiseido Forest Valley that's adorned with silver, platinum and gold lights and ornaments. There, visitors can select their favourite lighting pattern and witness it being projected on the tree.
Visitors can also gather at the HSBC Rain Vortex where the Christmas Light & Sound Show will take center stage every evening at 7.30pm, 8.30pm, 9.30pm, with an additional show on weekends at 10.30pm.
Those who want to see snow in sunny Singapore can wait for the snowfall experience every evening at 7.35pm, 8.35pm, 9.35pm and 10.35pm.
