Cantopop stars Joey Yung, Charlene Choi and Gillian Chung have been spotted around town, prompting speculation that the trio are in Singapore to film the next season of their travel reality series, Girls’ Spectacular Journey, also known as Yin Wei Shi Peng You Ya.
Netizens posted pictures of the three Hong Kong stars at various spots in Singapore, including near Marina Bay Sands’ Infinity Pool, on the Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu on Monday (Mar 17).
Hong Kong singer Yung, and Cantopop duo Twins Choi and Chung, together with their film crew, were also seen at 99 Old Trees Durian, a durian specialty cafe near Chinatown.
The group later went to Lau Pa Sat hawker centre, where they ate chicken rice, satay and other local food.

Yung had previously teased their arrival on Instagram. On Mar 16, she posted a video of her heading to Singapore, tagged Choi and Chung, and captioned it with the hashtags #workingwithbestie and #singapore.
The release date of Girls’ Spectacular Journey’s second season has yet to be announced. The first season, which premiered in 2021, featured 12 episodes showcasing the trio’s friendship as they travelled around China.
Yung performed in Singapore last year for her Joey Yung Love In Marina Bay Sands concert.
Choi and Chung recently performed at their 14-date Twins Spirit Live In Hong Kong Since 2001. Their popular tracks include Love Comes In A Bottle and World Cup For Two. Choi also appeared in crime drama The Goldfinger, which also stars Hong Kong actors Tony Leung and Andy Lau.
