SINGAPORE: Former transport minister S Iswaran is expected to plead guilty on Tuesday (Sep 24), after the prosecution replaced his two corruption charges with lesser ones under Section 165.
Section 165 states that it is an offence for public servants to accept or obtain valuable things from someone involved with them in an official capacity.
Iswaran, 62, is the first political office-holder in Singapore to be tried in court in nearly five decades.
