SINGAPORE: It's shaping up to be a rainy National Day on Friday (Aug 9) as Singapore marks its 59th year of independence.
About 27,000 spectators were expected at the Padang, in the heart of Singapore's civic district, for the National Day Parade but some have been moved out of the stands because of wet weather.
