KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said the Malaysian government is looking at postponing the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) after initially stating it wanted to withdraw from the project altogether.
"At the moment when we looked at the financial situation of the country we thought that we couldn't go ahead,” he told reporters outside parliament.

Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali on Thursday said he was planning to visit Singapore by the end of July to discuss the status of the agreement.
