Acclaimed Singaporean musician Dick Lee is celebrating an illustrious career spanning 50 years with a concert this August. Dick, the mastermind behind evergreen hits such as Fried Rice Paradise and Home, will be staging two shows at the Capitol Theatre on Aug 23 and 24.
In addition to singing, Dick will also be regaling attendees with stories from his career, sharing personal experiences, pictures and rare footage of past concerts.
Tickets for Dick Lee's upcoming concert will cost between S$78 and S$168, and can be purchased via Sistic.
A pioneer in Singapore's music scene since the 70s, Dick Lee has also written for productions such as Beauty World and Forbidden City. He was also a judge on the reality singing competition Singapore Idol which sparked the careers of Taufik Batisah and Hady Mirza.
In 2005, Dick was awarded the Cultural Medallion for his contributions to music.
