SINGAPORE: A power fault disrupted train services along the Circle Line on Tuesday (Sep 17) evening.
In an announcement on social media, SMRT advised commuters using the line to factor in an additional 30 minutes of travel time for their journeys.
"Free regular buses are available for all Circle Line stations. Please make use of alternative lines for your commute," SMRT added.
An announcement made at stations on the Circle Line advised passengers to alight from trains and seek other transport options. Commuters were also stopped from tapping into the stations.
Some passengers were also seen waiting outside one-north station. At about 5.55pm, passengers were allowed into the station, but trains were still not moving.
