SINGAPORE: Singapore reported 11 new COVID-19 cases as of noon on Tuesday (Oct 6), including two in the community.
There were four imported cases, all of whom were placed on stay-home notices upon arrival in Singapore, said the Ministry of Health (MOH) in its daily preliminary update.

Singapore has recorded a total of 57,830 COVID-19 cases.
Further details will be provided on Tuesday night, said the ministry.

Even as Singapore moves towards Phase 3, the “new normal” will be different from what the country was used to before COVID-19, Mr Gan said in Parliament.
“At this moment, particularly, we have to be very mindful that while the number of cases in Singapore is low, the cases around us, other parts of the world, (are) still rising. So therefore, we cannot let our guard down,” he added.
