SINGAPORE - A teenager who was filmed throwing a traffic cone down a Housing Board block last Thursday (Feb 15) has been arrested.
The Straits Times understands that the incident happened at night on one of the higher floors at Block 856, Tampines Street 82.
The police confirmed with The Straits Times on Tuesday that a report was lodged and the 19-year-old was subsequently arrested for committing a rash act.
His actions, filmed by the teenager's friend in an Instagram Story, drew public attention after the video was shared on Facebook last Friday.
Standing at a staircase landing, the teenager was seen laughing, before hurling the traffic cone over the ledge.
The Straits Times understands there were no injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
