SINGAPORE: Leader of the Opposition Pritam Singh could be stripped of his title with parliament set to debate his suitability to remain in his position, following his conviction for lying to a parliamentary committee.
Leader of the House Indranee Rajah had filed a motion which states that Mr Singh's continuation in the role "would undermine the standing of parliament and public confidence in the integrity of Singapore’s political system".
