SINGAPORE: A 34-year-old driver was arrested on Thursday (Jul 7) afternoon, several hours after a lorry crashed into 11 vehicles on the Singapore-Malaysia Causeway.

The accident took place on the Causeway towards Woodlands Checkpoint at about 9.25am, the South Johor Bahru District Police said in a statement.

Apart from the lorry, the accident also involved a van, a bus and nine cars. Six of the vehicles are foreign registered while the remaining ones were registered in Malaysia.
