SINGAPORE: Singapore reported 248 new COVID-19 infections as of noon on Thursday (Jul 16), including 11 cases in the community, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said in its preliminary daily update.
This brings the total number of cases in the country to 47,126.
AdvertisementAdvertisementThe community cases involve two Singaporeans or permanent residents, seven work pass holders and two dependant's pass holders.
There were also four imported cases who had been placed on stay-home notice upon arrival in Singapore.
The vast majority of the new cases are work permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories, MOH said, adding that more information will be released later in the day.
